We are looking forward to your application as (Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d) InsurTech at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal für Vorsorgeversicherungen GmbH in Munich.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered features: Design and implement new features across the full stack using TypeScript, React and MySQL, with AI as an integral part of our development process and products.
- Ensure quality and scalability: Continuously improve the performance, maintainability and scalability of our applications as part of your daily development work.
- Shape our architecture: Contribute your ideas to team discussions on software architecture, technical decisions and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Management: Support the planning of new features by providing a technical perspective on architecture, security and implementation.
- Grow and share your expertise: Continuously expand your knowledge of software engineering and modern technologies – and actively share what you learn with the team.
Your Qualifications
- Academic background: A degree with very good grades in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Mathematics or a comparable technical field.
- Relevant tech experience: First practical experience with at least two of the following technologies: React, TypeScript and MySQL, gained through internships, working student positions or up to 2 years of professional experience.
- Passion for software development: Enthusiasm for writing clean, well-tested and maintainable code and continuously improving your engineering skills.
- Curiosity for modern technologies: Motivation to explore new technologies and use AI tools to make software development smarter and more efficient.
- Team player: Enjoyment of working closely with your team in the office, exchanging feedback and actively contributing your ideas.
- User-focused mindset: A goal-oriented approach and the ambition to build software that creates real value for our users.
- Language skills: Fluency in English (C1); German skills are a plus.
